2013-05-13 Interplay: A Picture of our dark times

I see [almost] no one
even raising their little finger
to help their fellow man - not even to ease their pain and discomfort,
many being perfectly willing to throw away their honor and health
for [sufficient amounts of] money,
controlled by a false/artificial set of values,
their belief in the value of the basically worthless money
and/or some other kind of fixed belief system that has been cemented into their minds.
I see civilians being controlled by fear [of weapons]
and soldiers being controlled by fear of being ostracized
and false senses of honor,
trying to protect their loved ones
by killing and maltreating the loved ones of others..
